Ingredients
For mass:
- 3 eggs
- 150 gr. sugar
- 100ml. vegetable oil
- 70ml. milk
- 200 gr. of flour
- 8 grams. baking powder
- 8 grams. vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
For the fodder:
- 250 gr. Ricotta or cheese of your choice
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 egg
Others:
- 1 suitable mold (22×22 cm)
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease your 22×22 cm baking mold with butter or cooking spray.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until well combined and slightly frothy.
3. Add the vegetable oil and milk to the egg mixture and continue to mix until everything is well incorporated.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing well after each addition. Ensure there are no lumps in the batter.
6. Pour the cake batter into the greased baking mold and spread it evenly.
7. In another bowl, combine the ricotta (or cheese of your choice), sugar, cornstarch, and egg for the filling. Mix until smooth and creamy.
8. Pour the filling mixture over the cake batter in the mold, spreading it evenly.
9. Place the mold in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
10. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the mold for a few minutes.
11. Carefully transfer the cake onto a wire rack to cool completely.
12. Once cooled, you can cut the cake into squares or slices and serve. Optionally, you can dust the top with powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness.
